Most of the time I don't steep my tea long mainly because I really can't stand anything bitter and over steeped tea is probably the bitterest thing I've tasted next to cheap beer. Weakly steeped tea ain't that bad for me but I do understand when Chinese tea experts say that Lipton tea is like flavored water. I've had good tea that isn't bitter. It was really sweet actually. But this mint tea is just awful. Its like the teaification of an icyhot backpatch. Hell I think one of those might actually taste better than this garbage.

At any rate I'm working on another term paper. Which means another late night sit and procrastinate and actually work on it for only 2 hours in total and manage to finish it. I hate writing essays especially when I don't feel for the subject matter. I know the subject matter back to front but I just flat out don't care. Its hard to make an essay on something you don't feel anything for. Because the point of an essay is to make an argument of some type. Ideally appealing to the reader's logos, ethos, and pathos. Not just paste facts, ideas, and hypotheses onto a piece of paper and call it a work of art. A true essay needs love or hate. It needs a human touch. I could probably make a Java program to string ideas together in a paragraph and if I worked at it maybe give it enough artificial intelligence for it to crank out D grade papers all night long. However the point is you need to have an opinion to have an essay. An apathetic writer usually can get off the topic of his writing. Sure I can write about the economic significance of cow shit but it doesn't make me interested in economics or cow shit.

I can, however, write a good essay on this tea. I truly and honestly dislike this tea. I'm probably going to pour it down the sink in a minute here. The coolness and sweetness of the mint, coupled with the hot and somewhat bitter water, leaves this foul taste in my mouth and smells like freshly picked mint at the same time. This filth water is its own oxymoron.
